The California Credit Union League’s newly released Overdraft/Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fees Resource Guide displays actions taken to support credit unions across California and the resulting positive impacts — a powerful resource for senior management, board members, and political advocacy specialists at your credit union.
As more than 10,700 messages have been sent to state legislators opposing California’s Senate Bill 1075, nearly 250 advocates also joined the Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington, D.C. earlier this year to knock on doors in the halls of Congress and oppose the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) proposed overdraft rule. Additionally, over 7,000 messages have been sent to Capitol Hill lawmakers opposing the CFPB’s proposed rule.
