Nearly 100 golfers and volunteers participated in this year’s 11th annual Multi-Chapter PAC Golf Tournament, held Sept. 27 at Glendora Country Club (in Glendora, CA)! Click here for a photo gallery of the event.

Volunteers representing credit unions within the Monterey Bay, Greater Valley, Channel, Orange County, Tri-County, Central Valley, and San Diego-Imperial chapters helped to make the tournament a success and raised more than $100,000 for the California Credit Union League’s Political Action Committee.

The League’s PAC allows credit unions to support candidates who understand the credit union difference.

Golfers were awarded with first, second, and third-place foursomes, as well as closest-to-pin recognitions. As usual, the much-anticipated putting contest was held before tee-off — a yearly “favorite.”

Congratulations to the winners! Everyone who participated put their best foot forward for the credit union cause, with the following individuals claiming this year’s winning titles:

  • First place (59 score): Jason Lesteberg, John Salgado, Tom Orman, and Mark Chandler.
  • Second place (60 score): Alex Kirrin, Jason Pugh, Winston Clinton, and JT Woods.
  • Third place (60 score): Open Lending (Kevin Kindschi, Darrell Thompson, Curt Ruther, and Alan Courtesy).
  • Closest to pin (#2): Dave Gunderson (4’ 3”).
  • Closest to pin (#7): Brad McDaffee (4’ 5”).
  • Closest to pin (#13): Steve O’Connell (4’ 5”).
  • Closest to pin (#15): Winston Clinton (12’ 3”).

Several of the day’s participants were also involved in the raffle drawing, with prizes such as gift cards, golf clubs and bag, golf paraphernalia, logo shirts, gift packs, and more.

Contributions will be attributed to the CCUL-PAC (Independent Expenditure Account). Contributions are not tax-deductible for state or federal tax purposes. Questions regarding PAC? Contact Heather deNecochea at heatherd@ccul.org.
