'Crash the GAC' Application Deadline Extended to Jan. 31

Video conference event

The application deadline for crashers to "Crash the GAC" has been extended to Jan. 31, which means there's still time to get your credit union's emerging leaders into one of the most exciting events of 2021!

Have your credit union's emerging leaders apply here by 9:59 p.m. (Pacific) on Sunday, Jan. 31 (scroll down to answer question and click "Next" button). They can also take a deep dive into the world of credit union advocacy during the industry's biggest event of the year: the Credit Union National Association's (CUNA) annual Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) from March 2 - 4 (virtual event)!

"Crash the GAC," brought to you by The Cooperative Trust, is part of GAC every year. This unique credit union community helps crashers build a strong network of continuous and collaborative learners, as well as create and curate professional development and experiences that will support dedication to serving others. "Crash" programming will start in the morning on Monday, March 1 and end Friday, March 5.

CUNA's GAC will be taking place virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are two unique opportunities for "crasher" participation this year:

'Crasher' Option 1
The Cooperative Trust and CUNA have joined forces to offer 50 scholarships for crashers at GAC. Only 50 crashers will receive free conference registration from CUNA.

'Crasher' Option 2
Your credit union covers your registration fee, and you can simply register to participate in this year's "Crash the GAC" experience. Click here for GAC conference fees. As GAC is the premier credit union advocacy event of the year, crasher spots are limited and coveted. So the brightest talent and those who are passionate about serving others through cooperative finance should register.
