NV Releases Third Version of Vaccine Prioritization Playbook

Notepad and pen

The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services' Division of Public and Behavioral Health has released its "NV COVID-19 Playbook Version 3: Prioritization and Eligibility for COVID-19 Vaccination".

It is updated to incorporate recent recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other adjustments unique to Nevada’s needs. It remains a living, working document and may be revised throughout the course of the state’s vaccination process.

Credit unions would be included under the “Depository Credit Institution Workforce” area (page 8), which comes under the “Frontline Commerce & Service Industries” heading (page 7).

We mentioned last week that Nevada has launched a COVID-19 Vaccine Interest Form that employers can complete if interested. The form is integrated with the state’s vaccine registration system. Please fill it out if your credit union wants to ensure its staff is offered the vaccine during distribution in the coming weeks and months through prioritized status. Nevada is using this tool to identify priority groups.

Additionally, you can see Nevada's four-tier vaccination priority schedule here.
